Finding your perfect ring size doesn’t have to be complicated! Whether you're treating yourself or purchasing a gift, here's an easy guide to ensure a comfortable and accurate fit—using a printable ring sizer or a simple string-and-ruler method.
You can use the ring sizer image provided below. Follow these steps:
1. Print at 100% Scale:
Ensure your printer settings are set to 100% (do not scale or "fit to page").
After printing, verify the size by measuring the sizer from left to right—it should measure exactly 3 3/8 inches.
2. Cut Out the Sizer:
Carefully cut along the outline of the printed sizer.
3. Wrap Around Finger:
Insert the pointed end through the slit next to the black arrow labeled “Read Size Here.” Slide it over your finger and pull gently until it fits snugly—but comfortably.
4. Read Your Size:
Your ring size appears where the arrow points.
If you don’t have a printer, try this method using basic household items.
Step 1: Wrap
Wrap a piece of string or thin strip of paper around the base of your finger.
Step 2: Mark
Using a pen, mark the spot where the ends meet.
Step 3: Measure
Lay the string flat against a ruler and note the length in inches or millimeters.
Step 4: Compare
Use the chart below (or consult your local jeweler) to match your measurement to a ring size. As a rule of thumb, about 1/16 of an inch (~1.5mm) corresponds to ½ a ring size.
